Discretion matters: no skips, no open trucks, no audience

A hoarded home is a private matter. Open tipper trucks, overflowing skips and furniture broken up on the driveway draw attention from neighbours, and that can be distressing for the occupant and their family.

We carefully carry everything to our enclosed Luton van, out of public view. We'll also talk to you about timing and parking to keep the clearance as low-key as possible.

How our hoarding clearance works

A clear, step-by-step plan

  1. A confidential conversation: Call us or send an enquiry. Photos help, but they aren't essential

  2. Free property visit and quote: We assess the volume, access and any safety issues, then give you a clear, no-obligation quote

  3. Agree what stays: We agree with the occupant or family what will be kept, sold, donated, recycled or disposed of

  4. Careful sorting: We can look out for documents, money, photographs, jewellery and sentimental items, and set them aside

  5. Safe clearance: We work room by room, packing, removing and loading items into our enclosed van

  6. Clean finish. We sweep and vacuum for free, so the property can be cleaned, repaired, let or sold

We can complete larger hoarding clearances over several days or visits if that's easier for the occupant.

Safety and difficult conditions: prepared for challenging properties

Hoarded properties can have restricted access, unstable piles, damp, mould, pests, food waste or items that need special handling. Our team arrives with suitable protective equipment, assesses the risks before starting and works safely throughout.

Where a property needs specialist work, such as deep cleaning, biohazard removal, pest control or repairs, we can advise on the next steps.

Valuables and resale items: finding value among the contents

Hoarded homes often contain items of real value hidden among everything else. Where we find antiques, collectables, artwork, quality furniture or other resaleable items, we may buy them or offset their value against the clearance cost.

We're always open about valuations, so you can see exactly how the final price has been worked out.

Recycling and responsible disposal: keeping as much as possible out of landfill

We reuse or recycle up to 80% of house contents using responsible routes and charity partners, including our work with Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.

As licensed waste carriers, we dispose of anything that can't be reused lawfully and responsibly.
