Who we are

Massey's House Clearance & Moving Services is the trading name of Damian Massey, a family-run business based at 82 Broadway Lane, Bournemouth BH8 0AG.

Data we collect

When you request a quote, contact us or use our services, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property address, details and photos of the work required, and payment details.

When you visit our website, we may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit, through cookies.

How we use it

We use your data to respond to enquiries, provide quotes, carry out and invoice our work, keep the records required of a licensed waste carrier, and improve our website and advertising.

We process your data to fulfil a contract with you, to meet our legal obligations, for our legitimate business interests (such as replying to enquiries and keeping our website secure), and with your consent for non-essential cookies and any marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing your data

We never sell your data. We only share it where necessary with our trusted service providers: Squarespace (website and forms), Google (analytics and advertising), our email provider, our accountant and our payment providers. We also share it with anyone you ask us to deal with, such as a solicitor or estate agent, or where required by law.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the USA. Where this happens, appropriate legal safeguards are in place.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make our website work. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our adverts. You can accept or reject these through our cookie banner, and change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Keeping your data

We keep your data secure and only for as long as needed. Enquiries that don't go ahead are kept for up to 12 months. Customer, financial and waste records are kept for up to 6 years, as required by law. Data is then securely deleted.

Your rights
